Need a drysuit? Here are some deals.

A trusty drysuit is a season extender. It makes paddling in cold, wet conditions pleasurable instead of punishing. But a good drysuit can be expensive. Kokatat Meridians currently go for about $1,300 new, and that’s before sales tax.

The good news is that Shawna Franklin and Leon Somme, two of our friends and coaching mentors, are selling brand new drysuits at a serious discount. Here are the details:

Leon’s is a men’s medium, Goretex front-entry with a relief zipper (metal), ocean top, red accent, black bottom, with a red left pocket.

Shawna’s is a women’s medium, Goretex front-entry with a drop seat and lowered relief zipper (metal), black top, red accent, red bottom, with a red left pocket.

The cost is $800 apiece, including shipping. If you are interested, contact them directly at smfranklin0252@gmail.com or 360-472-0252. We’ll update this post when they are sold.
